Sitting, Waiting, Trying to Keep Busy

Look at my new earrings. Should have probably saved the money but they were like two dollars...

I can justify two dollars...

But the only problem was that I justified several cheap things...

Which added up to one bigger bill.

Which is why I am decked out in my new not so shabby apple outfit today!

I am hoping this shirt looks real good after I loose that bump!

Oh I also got some cute nail polish

So I can have some cute nails while birthing

This is what I call fall

I feel like this is the REAL first day of fall.

Overcast and 70 degrees.

Today would be a nice day to go into labor 

(maybe if I didn't have to work and make some more money)

I think the horizontal stripes make it look bigger than it is...

38 weeks and 1 day...

Nesting

 So I have heard about this "nesting" thing...

and I was wondering when it was going to hit me.

For the past nine months I have either lived in a house with boxes, dirty, or not quite nested.

I think that nesting thing might have hit today.

Too bad I have to go to work otherwise I could probably keep going.

It started with me canceling my spa day to do my own spa day (saving a pretty penny)

Its alright I sat around in a robe for free.

Then I went grocery shopping started making pumpkin pie &  Jambalaya

Odd combo but yum.

I tried to make enough Jambalaya so that if I went into labor I would have enough not cook for a while.

Then pumpkin pie <3 you know how I am falling in love with this whole "autumn" thing.

(I should have probably have taken a picture before I cut into it... lesson learned)

oh and I cleaned & cleaned and somehow moved a table across the house by myself.....

Don't worry! what is going to happen? I'll go into labor or something?

Nursery Walkthrough

So I finally put my butt in gear and started to work on the nursery.

I don't know maybe I thought... oh crap I could have a baby soon...

Remember before? right after my baby shower?

Its not completely done but it is livable and a constant work in progress

Not Pregnancy Hair

Its a big deal when your hair ISN'T in a bun on the top of your head....

I can't believe how excited I am for fall.

I have never been this excited.

But I feel as if I should be drinking a hot chai tea.

I have an awesome red coat I am so ready to wear.

& a purple scarf.

Hurry and get cold. Hopefully it still fits.

Oh & now I am going to my doctor appointments weekly

This baby is going to be coming any time.

Baby Shower Success

I only have awful pictures from the shower.

I am 34 weeks!

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone.

& I can't believe that I am going to have a baby soon.

My baby shower is this Saturday!

I am so excited I can't wait.

We are now officially homeowners!

We have been packing, moving, unpacking, and getting adjusting.

Big News Day

I just started my third trimester.

Only 84 days left.

Its going to fly by.

One of our offers on a house got accepted.

So surreal.

Its newer so its more updated.

But still a blank canvas.

& right next to big parks and schools.

We are going on a much needed vacation tomorrow.

& we are going to play marbles

& have some awesome rest before baby comes

& plan the baby shower!

while scheming about this baby shower....

Oh yes I intend on buying more.

I take my glucose test tomorrow

(I don't know why I am excited about this)

I am not excited to get blood drawn again though.

Things are starting to look up.

So I have all these cute dresses that are now too short.

& I was going to throw them all away and then I was like wait!

short dress now equals maternity shirt

Sometimes I think I am a genius.

(Note the cute flowers Franklin got for me *swoon*)

PS look how big I look in this picture. I feel as if I look bigger than I feel.

& I just ate a whole chipotle burrito so that may have added to it.

A Very Harry Birthday

So my birthday was a day of just hanging out with Franklin

My mom took me to the antique store.

And after we hung out and laid around

we got all dressed up to go to the Harry Potter movie premiere!

We were Lupin and (pregnant) Tonks

Remember I don't have my camera so I have to wait for others to post picture before I can steal them

and blog them.

But I thought of this idea and its so easy I couldn't wait 4 more days...
