Elijah's Room

I'm trying to live my Pinterest board dreams. It's a slow process but I think I've been doing a good job.

Confession: I've been going through all my pins and deleting and organizing them all. I'm pretty sure it's not normal, but I have been tackling the Pinterest "to-do list"

So we put in Eli's floor, painted, and put the wall stickers on. Hung curtains and pictures. There are still some little things that need to be done...eventually.

Don't be fooled. Every time I went in to clean and take pictures children and animals would come and get in the way or dump toys on the floor. Or my personal favorite pose for pictures. It took me two days to even get "the perfect pictures"

Antelope Canyon

I have been wanting to go to antelope canyon for a while now, so now I can check this off the bucket list. The only problem is I have come up with several other places I want to go and other things I want to do.
I think it's amazing how nature makes these patterns in the earth over thousands of years.

We went to the lower canyon. After we went on the lake up the same canyon from the water side.

I'm thankful that I actually went, when forces were working against me going. I hope that I can work to explore more places, especially those in my own backyard.

Little Pink Dresser

Hello world.
It's been forever. (Seven months)
I feel like I am a completely different person than I was seven months ago. I feel like I've grown up. We have been simplifying our life and home. We've been doing projects around the home (mainly Franklin, while I keep kids out of the way).
I think I will have another post about simplifying and sharing all the things I've learned. Not today. I just kinda wanted to brag about one of our projects.

What is more fitting than a pink dresser in a little princesses room? I love how it all turned out. On to the next project!
