Ten month old

All of a sudden he looks like a big boy. What happened? I feel like he's looked the same up to this month. We are kind of late this month with vacation, Birthdays, holidays, and revenge of the pink eye.

Anywho Eli eliZa (Elijah) As daisy calls him  has been pulli himself up on everything and doing the side way walk. He loves Winnie the Pooh. He loves playing in the playroom. His favorite thing ever is playing in water. He is slowly eating finger foods (let's just skip baby food) still mostly on milk. He loves to play outside. Poor guy gets beat up by his sister. Laughs at baby dolls. Starting to babble. Lights up my life with his smile. Screams and hulks out.  Crawls everywhere. Lives to turn off the playstation so everyone gets mad. Ball shaker. He's all boy.

Triangle quilts

I guess I should finally blog these pictures. I've been finished with these quilts for a couple of weeks but haven't had the opportunity to put them up. I started to make one quilt for Eli (the all over triangles). Then I realized I had enough extra triangles to make another (triangle of triangles). So I made them both simataneously. I was thinking about trying to sell one, but that's like asking me to sell a child. I like both for different reasons. I should probably sell one. But which one?!

I love the back on this one. It reminds me of the southwest. The quilting is diamonds. A lot of swear words went into the making of this quilt.

The back on this one reminds me of nautical flags. And I couldn't just put it in a straight line. Pfft. Lots of swear words and soda also went into the making of this quilt.

We survived Utah

Well, now I know why everyone dreads traveling with children. This picture is the beginning of the end for the first leg of the trip.

However, once we got there everything was pretty magical.

And we are soooo happy to be home.

Nine month old

Phew I may have done this month on time but little buddy was sick. And he is a mamas boy when he is sick. Inconsolable. Always wanting to be held. So I have been busy this past week trying to survive.

Eli is a giant. Size 5 diapers. 18-24 mo clothes. Eating very little baby food. Pulling himself up on everything. Crawling everywhere. Four teeth. Laughing at sister. Growls. Loves Winnie the Pooh and frozen. Growing up way to fast. Hamhock butt. Shakes when happy. Loves to be held all the time. He looks long and lean this month!

A quilt for daisy

So I started this quilt when Daisy was in my tummy.

http://somerfox.blogspot.com/2011/06/circles-of-every-shape.html

Here is the link to the starting product and a picture of the original that I got the idea from.  So after three years I finally picked it up again, finished the circles, quilted, & finished it.
I feel so good and accomplished. I am really bad about finishing long projects.

Here are pictures of the final product:

Personalization
& the backside...

Let's start the next quilt! :)

Looking great mr. Eight months

Let's see where do I start?

Crawling. Rolling. From laying to sitting. Eating solids finally. Four teeth. pterodactyl happy sounds. Size 4 diapers. 12-18 month clothes. Loves frozen and Winnie the Pooh. Mamas boy.   Loves to squish and squeeze and rip thing. Loves to be outside. We all love this little boy. Daisy is a good little mama to him. Except when she knocks him over and smacks him with her toys. Good thing he is tough.

Seven month old

Mr. Eli I can't believe how big you are. You are 20 pounds and in the 90th percentile for weight and 70th for height. You are rolling over and crawling backwards. You are a hair puller who officially has two teeth. Professional squealer. Still not eating solid food yet still a chunk. Sitting up with no assistance. You hate your nose to be picked or touched for that matter. You sister loves to squish and smother you and when I yell at her she says incredulously "mama hug Eli" love you little chunk.
